The journal of a gardener in transition from her former garden (Hogglebog, a zone 5 garden located in southeast Michigan) to her new, as yet unnamed garden in Phoenix, Arizona 14 Nov 09 Rassin'Frassin'Bird... I have a Curved-billed Thresher doing great damage to my garden. Stupid bird is tasting EVERYTHING. And if one leaf doesn't taste good, maybe the next one on the plant WILL, right? And so on. I suspect it's a juvenile, trying things to find out what is tasty and what is not... 17 Oct 09 Desert Botanical Garden Fall Sale Going on today and tomorrow. As a member, I took the day off yesterday and went to the member's sale. As usual, I overspent my budget.
