1 Mar 05  Survivor in Death

Giving any of the "In Death" books 4 stars isn't hard for me -- I LOVE this series. Eve and Roarke are characters I've grown to love while reading this 22+ book series. 22 Nov 04  What's so great about LiveJournal?

Recently, several of my daily reads switched to LiveJournal. A move I have to admit has lessened how often I read them. Why do all restroom vending machines carry feminine hygiene products from the 1950's? 8 Aug 04  Something's Gotta Give

Netflixed this one last night. There aren't too many films out there about 50 & 60 year olds getting together; the success of this film should tell the film industry that people do enjoy films that don't revolve around 20-somethings (and that's coming from a 20-something!) Apparently, the roles of Harry and Erica were written specifically for Jack Nicholson and Dianne Keaton...

18 Jul 04  8.4

I give 8.4 a 3.0. This book is obviously about earthquakes. The New Madrid Faultline (NMSZ) - think Memphis - is infamous for the historical triad of earthquakes that happened in 1811-1812. It's present day, and one of our heroes, Elizabeth Holleran (seismologist), comes into some information that leads her to believe that it's probably going to happen again...

17 Jul 04  Cancer Sucks, Part 2

Not that this is a new concept for anyone, but I just wanted to reiterate my thoughts on the subject. 6 Jul 04  Cute Dog Treats and Babies

A friend from work gave MacGyver a treat from the Just Dogs Barkery. Is this not the cutest dog treat ever? MacGyver loved it ... these were gobbled up almost as fast as the Frosty Paws doggy ice-cream! (Thanks to Addie for that idea ...

4 Jul 04  Spiderman 2

This movie accomplished what very few sequels can: it is actually better than the first film. Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst both do a phenomenal job ... so much love angst between these two! So well played! I enjoyed the plot of this movie much more than the original film as well ...

28 Jun 04  Calendar Girls

What a great movie! Touching, witty and well-acted.
